For instance, in late 2005/early 2006, one could not find even a vacant lot on Holden Beach, NC for less than $315,000. Today, lots start at $195,000 and residential properties begin at $249,000.

Also, where short sales and foreclosures were unheard of in our area in the past, there are several properties now that fall into these categories.
